We are Hokies

Most of you know that I am a student at Virginia Tech. This week has been horrible. There is nothing good to be said about the events of this past Monday.

Message Received

This is why reporters shouldn't give away too much sensitive information in certain cases. The reporter shows where Israeli tanks are hiding. It takes a lot of effort to hide a tank. The Israelis send him a little message to show their displeasure.

I finally broke down

I didn't believe the hype around del.icio.us for a long type. As you may notice, the links section on the side of this site is dynamic. I'm using del.icio.us to power a script for it. I know some people are gloating because I was so adamant about avoiding the site. My links are here.

Oops....cheap music

So in a previous post I raved about AllofMp3.com. Oops. This article tells a different story. I'm glad I only add $5 at time to my account, beacuse they will be shut down shortly. I have moved on to other ventures. Napster is back, but they make you do some work for free music. Read this and this to save yourself space and time.

Gmail Expansion

Google is expanding the beta testing for Gmail, their web based email service that allows 1 gb of storage. I switched over to Gmail because Hotmail is a pain, I wanted a fresh start from spammers (though posting my address here does not help), and I no longer wanted a bunch of numbers on my email address. I have 50 invites to hand out. Send me an email if you want to try it out.
