Most of you know that I am a student at Virginia Tech. This week has been horrible. There is nothing good to be said about the events of this past Monday.

I have been working with CNN to help them get the story right. I wrote about a few of my experiences here.

Beta Xi Wins Chapter of the Year

This past month, Beta Xi chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Virginia Tech was awarded Chapter of the Year. We have been knocking on the door for a number of years, but finally got the top spot this time.

A highlight form the story: "It is because of this dedication that each brother takes on the responsibility of the chapter on themselves in order to ensure that everything is, not only complete, but accomplished. "

This past weekend I went back to Illinois to celebrate Andy and Kate's Wedding. I had the time of my life. One weekend reminded me why I loved living there and how many great friends I left. Hopefully I'll make it back again soon. See the photos here.

Back from Vegas

Beta Xi Representatives

I'm back from the AKPsi National Convention. Looking back, I am very glad I went. The people I met were amazing. Hopefully I'll be keeping in touch with many of them. Our chapter tied for the top score on our annual report. More importantly, in my opinion, our chapter advisor was recognized as the best in the fraternity. Phil has dedicated so much of his time to all of us as a volunteer. Congratulations Phil and Beta Xi chapter at Virginia Tech.

Long Time, No Update

Where have I been? I neglected the site I said I would keep up to date. Since my last post the semester has passed. I've had some rough spots recently, but came out of it a better man. This summer I will be taking a few classes and working in an internship I helped create. What an awesome opportunity! This summer also entails a trip to Las Vegas for the AKPsi National Convention. Updates are sure to come more frequently.
